Yaqza, The Awakening is the first ever experimental Kashmiri feature film that explores the spiritual subconscious through the philosophical traditions of Kashmir. Blending poetic imagery, introspective narrative, and metaphysical inquiry, the film journeys into the hidden layers of human consciousness, where memory, dream, and awakening converge. Drawing inspiration from the rich spiritual heritage of Kashmiri thought, Yaqza examines the quest for self-realization and the profound relationship between the individual mind and universal consciousness. Through an immersive cinematic language, the film invites audiences to contemplate the nature of existence, perception, and inner awakening.
